Friday 26/11/04	7:30pm	A slide show of working in Baffin Island in Arctic Canada by Mike Kaplin. Followed by a few drinks at a local hostelry. Meet at the Carlton Centre, 121 Montgomery Street
Friday 10/12/04	7:30pm	Christmas Dinner Held at the French Institute, 13, Randolph crst, Edinburgh. Cost Ł15 and Ł1.50 corkage. BYOB. Please send money to Joan Preston with menu selection as soon as possible. Places on a first come first served basis.
Thursday 23/12/04	7:00pm	Ice Skating The exciting annual gathering to break bones just in time for Christmas. Features ice skating, big wheel and drinks.
Saturday 29/01/05	8:00pm	Burns Ceilidh The highpoint of the HF winter calendar, with a Burn’s supper and dancing to follow. Tickets from Caroline.
Friday 18/02/05	7:30pm	Wine Tasting Bairds wine company will do a night of wine tasting with the option to buy. Meeting at Jean McCallum’s. Numbers to Diane M beforehand.
Friday 11/03/05	7:30pm	Mecca Bingo A chances to win big prizes. Meet at Edinburgh Palais, 129 Fountainbridge.
Saturday 09/04/05	12:30pm	Ratho Canal Cruise A three hour cruise with afternoon tea (15:30). Cost Ł14 and concessions Ł12. Numbers to Moira Leith before hand.
